Tips to Dress For Plus-Sizes


Imagine that everybody on the earth is a possessor of slim, trim curvy figure. Sounds Miraculous? We wonder if it can be actually possible, but we know it can actually be not. However, a girl, with plus size figure, can easily deceive the eyes by her attractive and trendy appearance if she knows how to carry herself well. 
Here are some stylish pointers on how to hide those flab and extra weight smartly.

How to Dress Smartly: 
It is not a big deal to gather the dresses that suit your look. Observe your body and identify the parts that have more fat. Choose the dress that will help to highlight the bony part and conceal the fatty part.

For example, if you have shaped shoulders then off-shoulder dress is a good option. If you have shaped shoulders but heavy arms then broad-necked top with long sleeve will be a right move. Now dress designers are going the extra mile to bring special dresses for plus-size girls.
Dark color Preference: 
Dark color dresses give us a lean look in compare to light color dresses. Stay away from too bright or gaudy colors. They will turn the expected result into opposite direction.

Some colors that can confer a slim and hot look are:black, dark blue, navy blue, peacock blue, indigo, red, dark red, maroon, saddle brown, dark green, dark olive green, forest green, dark slate gray, auburn, and burgundy.
Wear Vertical stripes: 
Let us understand it with a simple experiment. Take a paper and draw a square on it. Now draw multiple vertical lines in the square. You will notice that the square is looking like a rectangle now. Same rule applies to our dresses. Vertical stripes run parallel with our length and give a perception of a taller and, consequently, slimmer look.

Buttoned top: 
Buttoned top gives not only a smart look but also an outlook of a slim figure by almost dividing the one big fat look into two that appears as one slim look. Consider the above experiment; you can try by drawing just one line through length and see.

Avoid Horizontal stripes: 
Horizontal lines intersect with the length and accentuate the wider look. Obviously, that look is not our motive.

However, you can choose a mix and match of vertical and horizontal stripes (for example, a dress with horizontal stripe on upper half and vertical stripes on tummy area; a dress, with checks drawn on it, is not a bad option either). Trust me; there are several ways out to hide away fat and look slim.
Prefer tiny-Prints on a dress to bold printed dress: 
Bold, big, or broad prints generally render broad looks. Favor to wear small prints.

Special Tip: You can play with lots of color in a dress and can get a curvaceous look (remember, they should not be in horizontal design).
Wear Wavy dresses: 
Dresses with flow give an even-structured look and help to hide the flab, especially belly fat. Avoid dresses made of stiff cotton.

One-piece: 
The lesser will you divide the length, the slimmer look will you have. Long Gowns, tunics, full-length frock are wonderful Indian Saree, though not a one-piece, renders a gorgeous look to almost every kind of figure.

Right Accessories: 
Decorate yourself with funky cool accessories. Do your dress mix and match with different accessories. Accentuate with stylish hairdo and use cosmetics correctly to enhance the glamorous look.

Stop being Self-conscious: 
You may not have a well-defined contour, but you can surely make body appear as well-shaped. The two intelligent things, you need, are confidence and confident dressing sense. Remember, only you have to bear the brunt of self-consciousness.

Everybody knows that exercise is very important to lose weight but it is also important for being stress-free, disease free, and for having an active body. Active body is really eye-catching irrespective of slim or fat. I'm not saying to spend long hours in gym, but one can easily spare just ten minutes for exercising.
