Women's Plus Size Evening Dresses - Find Out Your Shape and Look Sensational (Part 1)

Get To Know Your Shape! From the list of body types/shapes below you will be able to work out your specific body shape. This is an extremely important aspect to consider when buying women's plus size evening dresses and women's plus size suits in style, colour and fabric suitable for you.
· Always wear a comfortable well fitted full shapewear garment underneath your evening wear, this will smooth out lines, keep everything in the right place and allow the garment to flow gracefully over your body.
· If you are a little bit on the short side, I would try to get a little extra height by wearing a higher heal, this tends to show off the style and design of your evening wear and take away the square silhouette look.
The Hourglass Shape:! Relax generally this shape is the easiest to work with. You have all your curves in all the right places so you can choose any design you like. It does not matter what size you are as long as you select evening wear designed exclusively for plus sizes.
· Always use the size charts available when shopping online for any clothing and make sure your measurements are accurate, then you can't go wrong.
The Pear Shape:! Your hips and bottom tend to be larger than your bust and tummy ratio. Before I go any further I just want to share something I read recently, medical experts have said that carrying extra weight in this area can have beneficial health effects including reducing the risk of diabetes and heart disease. (I might cover this in my next article) Anyhow lets not get side tracked, back to evening wear.
· I have seen a lot of beautifully designed plus size evening dresses that are fitted into the waist either with or without straps with gathering or ruffled material from the waist down, this style works well and looks stunning on women in the pear shape category.
